I’m Manny. I’m not a male nanny, it’s short for Amanda. Thanks for stopping by.
I’m a Washington, DC based writer who has written about everything from technology and mental health, nutty city council gadflies, and confessions of marital infidelity. By day, I’ve written for a variety of daily newspapers and public policy trade publications, and I’m pursuing an MA in nonfiction writing at Johns Hopkins University.
Once, I tried writing 50,000 words of a women’s fiction novel in 30 days during November, because that’s a thing. It didn’t go so well, but I had a blast doing it.
When I’m not writing, you can find me cheering on the Washington Nationals and trying to find the best pizza and cheapest yoga class in the District.
